A Method to Grow the Parish and the Faith

People get their information and beliefs from what they see on television and the internet. In a recent survey of 20,000 Catholics, the need to market and evangelize via the media was identified as a top priority. The Catholic Faith is in itself comprehensive, balanced, and rich, yet it is rarely presented effectively.

Catholic in America is a respond to that need, using television and the internet to evangelize and promote the mission of the American Catholic parish.

Pope John Paul and Ronald ReaganPope John Paul II and President Ronald Reagan understood the power of television and both mastered this medium for their respective causes, worldwide. Pope John Paul II repeatedly asked to employ the media to spread the Gospel.

Today, due to the deregulation of the communications industry and the widespread affordability of technology, local parishes and schools can be promoted through TV to attract attention to the ministries and solutions they are already offering their community.

How Catholic in America Grows the Church and the Parishes

Catholic in America connects people to the solutions they are looking for, particularly the answers offered at their local parish. Our approach has been tested at real parishes and helped our pilot parish grow into the largest church (of any denomination) in its county. Building on this success, donors and media professionals have come together to create a resource center that produces New Media to promote local parishes and the Catholic message.
